Regenerative Roots Coming to a Close

Hello friends, loved ones, and all of you who have been part of Regenerative Roots’ story for the past 7 years. It is with a very heavy heart that we write to you to let you know Regenerative Roots will no longer continue farming and producing vegetables. For personal and financial reasons, the property our vegetable farm rests upon will be put up for sale.

All of us will miss this land and the special connection of growing food and being a part of this community. You have supported us, cheered for us, celebrated the harvest with us, and we are going to miss being your farmers so much! You can still see us at farmers markets over the next couple months, though – we’ve still got a lot of carrots for you, after all!
A HUGE thank you to all of the people who were part of our CSA or came to our market stands. From our first CSA box or table filled with radish bunches to the mountains of cabbage, sweet potatoes, and carrots, it’s always been such a joy and a privilege to share. You gave us the confidence to believe that we could do this. Another very big thank you goes to Willy St. Co-op for working with us all these years; we don’t even know how many tomatoes it must have been by now! You all do so much to make sustainable farming a possibility, and we encourage you to keep supporting small organic farms and local businesses because it really does make an enormous difference.
Anne, Julia, and Clint all met working at Tipi Produce in Evansville way back in 2009. Anne and Julia started Regenerative Roots in 2012 producing vegetables for market, CSA and wholesale.  With Clint joining the business the last two years.  But, you can’t take the farm out of a farmer, it seems.  Anne will be a farm manager this year at Turtle Creek Gardens in Delavan and Clint and Julia are both searching for and exploring other farm endeavors for the future.  We’ve cherished our connections to this community, please feel free to reply if you’re interested in ways to stay in touch us! :)
Much love and appreciation to all of you, and thank GOODNESS we finally got through this super cold spell! Here’s to warm hearths and hearts.
Your farmers,
Julia & Clint
